FIELDWORK RESUMES

Following successful visits to BidiBidi and Rwamwanja to consult our youth advisory boards on how best to restart the work, Robert and Moses have been finalising preparations, including procuring additional transport.

The RYVU team are delighted to be starting up fieldwork again! We will soon be undertaking the pilot of our survey of refugee youth volunteering activity in BidiBidi, Rwamwanja, Nakivale and Kampala, before moving on to the full survey. It has been a long wait to get to this point! As soon as the Ugandan government gave permission to restart face to face work, the team began the process of developing our approach and seeking appropriate permissions in the UK and Uganda. You can see the measures we are taking on our updated information about the project below and the full updated postcard in this link.

We are delighted to be getting the chance to engage with young refugees and out network of stakeholders again. Watch this space for updates on some of our initial findings soon.
